About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Grow, deepen, and manage relationships with affluent customers and customers with complex financial needs
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for banking products and services through appointments, lobby engagement, and proactive outreach
  • Own and actively grow a defined book of business using goals-based planning and prudent risk oversight
  • Deliver integrated solutions across deposits, investments, credit, home lending, and business banking
  • Open accounts, handle service requests, and provide a seamless everyday banking experience
  • Acquire new affluent consumer and business customers and deepen existing relationships through outreach, referrals, and appointments
  • Lead discovery-driven conversations to understand customer goals and deliver tailored banking and credit strategies
  • Provide comprehensive, multi-product guidance and ongoing reviews across life stages and changing financial needs
  • Coordinate warm introductions with Wealth, Home Lending, and Business Banking partners and convert qualified opportunities into closed outcomes
  • Educate customers on self-service and mobile banking options
  • Advise branch colleagues on relationship development and complex client needs
  • Maintain accurate documentation, exercise sound judgment, escalate issues timely, and adhere to policies and regulations
  • Complete licensing requirements and SAFE registration to transition from the temporary LP role to Senior Branch Premier Banker (SAFE)

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4+ years of customer service experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
  • 3+ years of experience building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and partners
  • 3+ years of experience recommending products and services
  • Experience recommending financial products and translating customer goals into clear, actionable recommendations
  • Ability to proactively source, acquire, and deepen relationships through proactive outreach and strong internal partnerships
  • Experience managing a book-of-business, documenting planning conversations, and following through to drive retention and growth across deposits, lending, and investments
  • Experience coaching or supporting peers
  • Ability to communicate clearly and confidently, listen with empathy, and build credibility and trust
  • Financial services industry experience in consumer, home lending, business banking, or investments
  • 3+ years of experience in a licensed financial services position
  • Successfully completed FINRA Series 6 and 63 exams or FINRA-recognized equivalents sufficient to qualify for immediate FINRA registration
  • State Insurance license(s)
  • FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 or recognized equivalents must be active or completed within a designated timeframe
  • SIE exam required for FINRA qualification exams earned after September 30, 2018
  • FINRA Series 65 or equivalent required within a specified period for certain states
  • Required FINRA licenses must be obtained and maintained for continued employment
  • Enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards
  • SAFE registration required at the time of employment
  • Must meet LO/CFPB requirements and Wells Fargo policies regarding financial responsibility, character, fitness, and criminal background
  • Position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship
  • Ability to work a schedule that includes most Saturdays
