About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Acquire new affluent consumer and business customers and deepen existing relationships through outreach, referrals, and appointments
  • Conduct discovery-driven conversations to understand customer goals and deliver tailored banking and credit strategies
  • Serve as the primary financial partner, providing comprehensive multi-product guidance and ongoing reviews
  • Grow and manage a defined book of business using goals-based planning and prudent risk oversight
  • Deliver integrated solutions across deposits, investments, credit, home lending, and business banking
  • Coordinate warm introductions and collaborate with Wealth, Home Lending, and Business Banking partners
  • Champion digital adoption by educating customers on self-service and mobile banking
  • Open accounts, handle service requests, and support everyday banking needs
  • Advise branch colleagues on relationship development and complex client needs
  • Maintain accurate documentation, exercise sound judgment, escalate issues, and adhere to policies and regulations
  • Transition from the temporary Senior Branch Premier Banker LP role to the Senior Branch Premier Banker (SAFE) role after licensing and SAFE registration completion

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4+ years of customer service experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
  • 3+ years of experience building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and partners
  • 3+ years of experience recommending products and services
  • Experience recommending financial products and translating customer goals into actionable recommendations
  • Experience sourcing, acquiring, and deepening customer relationships through proactive outreach and internal partnerships
  • Experience managing a book of business, documenting planning conversations, and following through across deposits, lending, and investments
  • Experience coaching or supporting peers
  • Financial services industry experience in consumer, home lending, business banking, or investments
  • 3+ years of experience in a licensed financial services position
  • FINRA Series 6 and 63 exams, or recognized equivalents, sufficient to qualify for immediate FINRA registration
  • State Insurance license(s)
  • FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 and State Insurance license(s) must be active or completed within a designated timeframe
  • SIE exam required for FINRA qualification exams earned after September 30, 2018
  • FINRA Series 65 or equivalent required within a specified period for hires in applicable states, including South Carolina
  • Required FINRA licenses must be obtained and maintained for continued employment
  • Enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards
  • SAFE registration required at the time of employment
  • Must meet LO/CFPB requirements and Wells Fargo standards related to financial responsibility, character, fitness, and criminal background
  • Not eligible for visa sponsorship
  • Ability to work a schedule that includes most Saturdays
