About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Acquire new affluent consumer and business customers and deepen existing relationships through outreach, referrals, and appointments
  • Lead discovery-driven conversations to understand customer goals and provide tailored banking and credit strategies
  • Serve as the primary financial partner through comprehensive, multi-product guidance and ongoing reviews
  • Manage a defined book of business using goals-based planning and prudent risk oversight
  • Deliver integrated solutions across deposits, investments, credit, home lending, and business banking
  • Coordinate warm introductions and collaborate with Wealth, Home Lending, and Business Banking partners
  • Educate customers on self-service and mobile banking options
  • Support branch colleagues with relationship development and complex client needs
  • Document interactions accurately, escalate issues, and adhere to policies and regulations
  • Open accounts and handle everyday banking service requests
  • Complete the temporary Senior Branch Premier Banker LP role until licensing and SAFE registration requirements are met

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4+ years of customer service experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
  • 3+ years of experience building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and partners
  • 3+ years of experience recommending products and services
  • Ability to work a schedule that will include most Saturdays
  • FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 (or FINRA-recognized equivalents), active or completed within a designated timeframe
  • Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam required for FINRA qualification exams earned after September 30, 2018
  • FINRA Series 65 (or equivalent) required within a specified period for Virginia and listed other states
  • State Insurance license(s), active or completed within a designated timeframe
  • Required FINRA licenses must be obtained and maintained for continued employment
  • Enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards
  • SAFE registration required at the time of employment
  • Loan Originators must meet LO/CFPB requirements
  • Compliance with Wells Fargo policies regarding financial responsibility, character, fitness, and criminal background
  • This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship
