About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Acquire new affluent consumer and business customers and deepen existing relationships through outreach, referrals, and appointments
  • Conduct discovery-driven conversations to understand customer goals
  • Deliver tailored banking and credit strategies across deposits, lending, and investments
  • Serve as the primary financial partner providing comprehensive, multi-product guidance and ongoing reviews
  • Coordinate with Wealth, Home Lending, and Business Banking partners to deliver integrated solutions
  • Make warm introductions, set expectations, and convert qualified opportunities into closed outcomes
  • Educate customers on self-service and mobile banking options
  • Advise branch colleagues on relationship development and complex client needs
  • Maintain accurate documentation, exercise sound judgment, escalate issues, and follow policies and regulations
  • Manage and grow a defined book of business
  • Open accounts, handle service requests, and support everyday banking needs
  • Transition from the temporary license-pending role to Senior Branch Premier Banker (SAFE) after completing licensing requirements and SAFE registration

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4+ years of customer service experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
  • 3+ years of experience building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and partners
  • 3+ years of experience recommending products and services
  • Ability to work a schedule that will include most Saturdays
  • FINRA Series 6 and Series 63, or FINRA-recognized equivalents, active or completed within a designated timeframe
  • Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam required for FINRA qualification exams earned after September 30, 2018
  • FINRA Series 65 or equivalent required within a specified period for Texas and other listed states
  • State Insurance license(s), active or completed within a designated timeframe
  • SAFE registration required at the time of employment
  • Loan Originators must meet LO/CFPB requirements
  • Required FINRA licenses must be obtained and maintained for continued employment
  • Enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards
  • Credit report may be reviewed
  • No visa sponsorship available
  • Desired: experience recommending financial products and translating customer goals into actionable recommendations
  • Desired: experience sourcing, acquiring, and deepening customer relationships
  • Desired: experience managing a book of business and documenting planning conversations
  • Desired: experience coaching or supporting peers
  • Desired: financial services industry experience
  • Desired: 3+ years of experience in a licensed financial services position
  • Desired: successfully completed FINRA Series 6 and 63 exams or recognized equivalents
