About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Acquire new affluent consumer and business customers and deepen existing relationships through outreach, referrals, and appointments
  • Lead discovery-driven conversations to understand customer goals and deliver tailored banking and credit strategies
  • Serve as primary financial partner providing comprehensive multi-product guidance and ongoing reviews
  • Own and grow a defined book of business across deposits, lending, and investments
  • Partner with Wealth, Home Lending, and Business Banking teams to coordinate integrated solutions and convert qualified opportunities
  • Educate customers on self-service and mobile banking options
  • Advise branch colleagues on relationship development and complex client needs
  • Maintain accurate documentation, exercise sound judgment, escalate issues, and follow policies and regulations
  • Open accounts, handle service requests, and support everyday banking needs
  • Transition from the temporary license-pending role to Senior Branch Premier Banker (SAFE) after completing licensing requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4+ years of customer service experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
  • 3+ years of experience building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and partners
  • 3+ years of experience recommending products and services
  • Experience recommending financial products and translating customer goals into clear, actionable recommendations
  • Experience proactively sourcing, acquiring, and deepening relationships through outreach and internal partnerships
  • Experience managing a book-of-business, documenting planning conversations, and following through across deposits, lending, and investments
  • Experience coaching or supporting peers
  • Ability to communicate clearly and confidently, listen with empathy, and build credibility and trust
  • Financial services industry experience in consumer, home lending, business banking, or investments
  • 3+ years of experience in a licensed financial services position
  • FINRA Series 6 and 63 exams or FINRA-recognized equivalents sufficient to qualify for immediate FINRA registration
  • State Insurance license(s)
  • Active or timely completion of required FINRA and state insurance licenses
  • SIE exam required for FINRA qualifications earned after September 30, 2018
  • FINRA Series 65 or equivalent required within a specified period in listed states
  • SAFE registration required at employment
  • Must meet enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards
  • Loan Originators must meet LO/CFPB requirements
  • Must be able to work a schedule including most Saturdays
  • Not eligible for visa sponsorship
