About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and manage AOM and MM Veritas Issues and Corrective Actions
  • Identify and escalate issues and risks, including items that are off track or at risk of missing deadlines
  • Share oversight with Corrective Action owners and Business Control Managers to ensure Issues and Corrective Actions meet due dates
  • Manage and track all impacts and ensure new controls are created or modified where necessary
  • Track all necessary deadlines
  • Partner with Product Delivery, Technology, and Operations to collect evidence required to close out Issues and Corrective Actions
  • Collect status and details of each Corrective Action and present key information during bi-weekly meetings
  • Manage and coordinate efforts such as client remediations
  • Lead efforts to identify release impacts to controls across RAUs
  • Organize demos, lists of controls, and functionality to be assessed, coordinating with Operations, Product Delivery, and control partners
  • Maintain Role-Based Access Controls for the AOM and MM product by partnering with managers to certify entitlements for product roles several times throughout the year

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4+ years of Product Management experience, product development experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
  • Risk and control expertise
  • 5+ years of financial services experience
  • 3+ years of brokerage industry experience
  • Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand environment while balancing multiple priorities
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to present complex material in a digestible, consumable manner to all levels and audiences
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to develop partnerships and collaborate effectively with other business and technology areas
  • Ability to exercise independent judgement to identify and resolve problems with a focus on actionable outcomes
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the proven ability to manage multiple processes and tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively
  • Ability to work effectively and lead in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
  • Ability to take initiative and respond pro-actively to issues and escalations
  • Ability to influence, partner, and negotiate with senior business leaders to gain commitment to accomplish business goals
  • Ability to work a hybrid schedule, three (3) days in office and two (2) days remote
