About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support experienced Private Bankers with account administration, sales activities, risk management, and relationship management
  • Assist in providing service to Private Banking client relationships
  • Identify client retention issues and potential new business opportunities across product lines
  • Develop product knowledge and client relationship management skills to meet customers’ financial needs
  • Prepare preliminary client correspondence and customized professional client presentation materials
  • Research and resolve operational issues related to complex accounts
  • Execute daily transactions and provide sales and credit support to bankers across centers, offices, and internal partners
  • Interpret and apply policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
  • Own assigned work and extended projects through completion
  • Execute banking transactions, including wire-related activities, with accuracy and attention to risk management and controls
  • Provide work direction and training to less experienced associates when needed
  • Collaborate with peers, colleagues, managers, and internal customers to resolve issues and achieve goals
  • Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment
  • Maintain compliance with SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act requirements and related regulations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2+ years of Wealth Management Banking support experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of work experience, training, military experience, or education
  • Experience in Wealth Management, Private Banking, or a banking and trust environment, including supporting client relationships and partnering with bankers and internal business partners
  • Knowledge of opening and maintaining consumer and business deposit accounts, account processing, KYC requirements, Technical Exceptions (TE), and banking transactions, including wire transfers
  • Experience interpreting and applying policies, procedures, compliance requirements, trust documents, and business formation documents in an environment requiring effective risk management
  • Ability to take ownership of projects and assignments from initiation through completion
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy with client transactions, wire-related activities, documentation, and regulatory, risk, or compliance work
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities, deadlines, client needs, and longer-term projects
  • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and client service skills
  • Technical ability to learn and navigate multiple banking systems and applications
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • SAFE registration required at the time of employment
  • Must meet Loan Originator qualification requirements under Regulation Z
  • Must meet applicable financial responsibility, character, general financial fitness, and criminal background standards
  • Not eligible for Visa sponsorship
