About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Participate in low to moderately complex technology initiatives and projects, including installation, upgrades, and deployments
Identify opportunities to improve service quality and availability
Design, code, test, debug, and document low to moderately complex projects and programs
Review and analyze technical assignments and challenges, researching and selecting alternative technology solutions
Present recommendations for resolving issues and escalate issues as needed to meet service level agreements
Exercise independent judgment while developing understanding of technology-domain security and compliance requirements
Provide information to technology colleagues, internal partners, and stakeholders
Leverage AI-assisted development tools and help shape future technology platforms for Wells Fargo's Investment Solutions team

Requirements

What you’ll need

2+ years of software engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
1+ years experience in Spring Boot (Java ecosystem) or ASP.NET Core (.Net)
1 year experience with AI Assisted Development (e.g. GitHub Copilot, Devin, Codex, etc)
Strong collaboration skills with product owners, architects, developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders
Ability to work effectively in geographically distributed and cross-functional Agile teams
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and engineering practices
Demonstrated ownership, accountability, and commitment to delivering high-quality results
Customer-focused mindset with commitment to reliability, stability, security, and operational excellence
