About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the strategy, delivery, and modernization of the Cards and Unsecured Lending Data ecosystem
  • Build the next-generation Authorized Data Source (ADS) platform
  • Drive cloud migration efforts supporting consumer data products
  • Lead and develop a global team of engineering managers and technical leads
  • Define and execute the strategic roadmap for ADS and cloud modernization
  • Align with senior business and technology leaders on priorities, investments, and long-term data platform strategy
  • Ensure delivery of critical commitments tied to enterprise priorities and regulatory expectations
  • Guide actionable roadmaps and disciplined execution across multiple programs
  • Drive engineering excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement
  • Oversee secure, resilient, and scalable data solutions developed in-house and with third-party providers
  • Partner with Architecture and CTO teams on CBL application migration planning and cloud/data center exit strategies
  • Set and enforce risk management standards and ensure data governance, security, availability, and resilience controls
  • Support risk initiatives and remediation programs
  • Manage a $20M+ technology portfolio and optimize resourcing across global teams with 100+ resources
  • Lead workforce planning, talent strategy, and recruitment
  • Influence business leaders, data partners, architects, and technology executives to drive adoption of target-state data platforms
  • Lead teams to achieve measurable enterprise transformation outcomes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10+ years of Technology Strategic Leadership experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
  • 4+ years of management or leadership experience
  • 5+ years of Financial Industry experience, specially within Consumer Banking and Consumer Lending Products
  • 4+ years of Product Management experience
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in data strategy, data migration, and enterprise data modernization initiatives
  • 4+ years of experience with Cloud technologies including good understanding of GenAI
  • 3+ years of experience with Strong Data Governance including implementation using a tool
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience formulating and executing major strategies to develop and deliver robust and scalable solutions
  • Ability to engage effectively with partners in a multicultural matrix environment
  • Ability to develop and execute business vision, strategies, and goals
  • Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
