About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop, retain, and grow complex client relationships for commercial clients with annual revenue of $25MM to $100MM
  • Lead structuring, modification, and renewal of complex cash flow, real estate loans, and industry-specific solutions
  • Analyze financials, present to clients, coordinate with internal stakeholders, and partner with senior peers on complex transactions
  • Review and offer Wells Fargo’s full suite of complex commercial client solutions
  • Engage product organizations to develop client-specific solutions based on clients’ businesses, objectives, priorities, and financial positions
  • Make decisions in complex situations and lead the team toward deliverables and new initiatives
  • Collaborate with peers and managers to resolve client issues and achieve business objectives
  • Help clients navigate Wells Fargo processes, escalate inquiries, and recommend process improvements and risk-control enhancements
  • Mentor less experienced colleagues
  • Drive relationship planning, sales, and pipeline activities while keeping system information current
  • Support Business Development Representatives in sourcing new Commercial Banking clients
  • Partner with Commercial Lending Product Management to provide feedback on client and market needs and improve credit solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of Commercial Banking Relationship Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of core banking products and services, such as commercial lending and treasury management
  • Completion of formal credit training program
  • Established professional network within the Market
  • Commercial banking account relationship management experience for clients with annual revenue of $25MM to $100MM
  • Demonstrated experience working collaboratively to deliver the organization to clients and prospects
  • Demonstrated experience generating new client relationships, building and retaining long-term client relationships
  • Experience identifying and mitigating risk, ensuring compliance with processes and procedures
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Not eligible for Visa sponsorship
  • Ability to travel within assigned territory as needed
  • Must comply with applicable Wells Fargo policies, procedures, risk programs, and compliance obligations
  • Must directly represent own experiences during the recruiting and hiring process
