About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Gain hands-on experience in non-client roles within a Wealth & Investment Management division
  • Participate in deep-dive sessions on key businesses

  • Perform investment management, financial analyses, project management, and consulting in home-office or middle/back-office environments
  • Maintain daily contact with leaders, senior management, team members, individual contributors, and vendors
  • Understand processes and workflows and recommend process improvements
  • Resolve issues, questions, and requests independently
  • Explain business needs and possible solutions through clear verbal and written communications
  • Learn new systems, applications, processes, and techniques
  • Lead or participate in moderately sized projects or support activities
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Complete project team assignments supporting strategic initiatives
  • Continue in opportunities within the assigned team after successful completion of the two-year program

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 6+ months of work experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Financial Planning, or related field
  • Expected graduation date between December 2026 and June 2027
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize work, take personal accountability, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
  • Ability to use critical thinking and basic data analysis to evaluate financial, economic, or investment decisions
  • Understanding of business and financial concepts through coursework, projects, or internships
  • Ability to work effectively in teams and build strong relationships
  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to deliver high-quality work
  • Integrity and sound judgment while identifying and managing risk
  • Active participation in extracurricular or enrichment activities
  • Ability to travel 5% or more of the time
  • Presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States without requiring current or future Wells Fargo visa sponsorship
  • Must successfully complete and pass a FINRA background check prior to hire
  • Must meet ongoing FINRA regulatory obligations, including periodic screening and mandatory reporting
