About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support billing of policyholder insurance premiums and posting payment receipts
- Provide customer assistance to policyholders, agents, and internal associates through various communication channels
- Prepare correspondence and take appropriate action with delinquent accounts
- Sort and process Billing department work, including endorsements, cancellations, reinstatements, audits, and disbursements
- Adapt to and support continual change
Requirements
What you’ll need- 1-3 years of experience in Billing
- Superior customer service skills
- Strong mathematical skills
- Detail oriented
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Problem solving skills and ability to handle issues and problems
- Proficient in computer software including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Some college education or equivalent
- Associate in General Insurance Designation preferred
