About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Administer funding from federal, state, and private grants/sponsored projects awarded to the university
- Manage all University grants from setup to closeout
- Ensure the institution meets compliance and financial reporting requirements
- Work closely with department finance to provide data analysis for decision-making throughout the grant
- Report to the Controller
- Collaborate with the Accounting department, Pre-Award Specialist, and department administrative staff
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree and one year working in an accounting-related field, which may be substituted for an advanced finance or accounting degree
- Degree in finance or accounting preferred
- One year of post-award grants management preferred
- Workday experience preferred
- Excel data analysis experience preferred
