About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the Inspection Service Business through manual and robotic inspections and component cleaning services
- Work closely with experienced technicians and engineers on inspection tooling for various services
- Prepare tools to support teams deployed to outages
- Disassemble, clean, decontaminate, inspect, install, repair, and assemble basic mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic equipment
- Complete site-specific training in radiation safety, hazard communication, and rigging
- Practice Human Performance Tools, INPO principles, Industrial Health & Safety, ALARA principles, security requirements, and Westinghouse and customer license requirements
- Take initiative on assigned tasks with little oversight
- Report to the Manager of Remote Delivery and Robotics
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be able to drive
- Must be a student and 18 years old
- Ability to lift 50lbs or more
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented and multitasking skills
- Must comply with United States and applicable export control requirements
