About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop a solution for implementing a remote alarm system to monitor the pressure conditions of Steam Generator compartments during maintenance operations
- Familiarize yourself with the relevant topics and study customer specifications
- Gather operational requirements from the various stakeholders
- Technically define and design mechanical interface components
- Draft specifications
- Procure materials and build a prototype
- Conduct laboratory tests to validate the proposed concepts
- Prepare test reports
- Prepare the procurement specification for the industrial solution and the associated user manual
- Develop a solution for removing foreign objects from inside a blocked Steam Generator tube using blowing and suction techniques
- Prepare a risk assessment
- Technically define and design the tool
- Prepare procurement specifications and purchase a prototype
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently pursuing a general engineering degree with a specialization in mechanical engineering, in the third year of the engineering program
- A good level of English is preferred, to collaborate and grow within our internationally operating group
- Rigorous and autonomous, with a strong team spirit
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Internship duration: minimum 6 months
- Candidates must be able to meet comparable French and U.S. export control requirements where applicable
