About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Prepare detailed project cost estimates, including conceptual, preliminary, and definitive estimates.
- Perform conceptual engineering design and develop preliminary construction plans to support estimating scope quantification.
- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to analyze project specifications, drawings, and documentation.
- Perform value engineering analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Develop and maintain estimation tools, databases, and methodologies.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans.
- Present cost estimates and value engineering options to senior management, stakeholders, and clients.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing.
- Track project costs and variances and update estimates throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience
- Familiarity with construction methods, materials, and equipment.
- Applicants for positions subject to export control regulations must meet applicable United States and comparable country requirements.
