About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and execute project-specific procurement strategies aligned to cost, schedule, risk, and technical goals
  • Lead procurement across the full project lifecycle and own deliverables and project accountability
  • Identify, assess, and onboard strategic suppliers based on capacity, capability, and quality
  • Manage supplier performance using KPIs, scorecards, and corrective actions
  • Partner with category teams to reduce risk
  • Lead RFQs/RFPs for complex components and systems
  • Perform total-cost-of-ownership and should-cost analysis
  • Negotiate contracts aligned to margin targets
  • Partner with engineering, project management, quality, and operations
  • Align procurement to project schedules and critical path
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including capacity, single-source, and geopolitical risks
  • Drive cost reduction and value engineering
  • Track savings and budget adherence
  • Monitor cost, delivery, and supplier-readiness KPIs and report to stakeholders
  • Ensure policy and regulatory compliance
  • Serve as primary interface between project management, engineering, manufacturing operations, and supply chain functions
  • Report to the Manager, Account Management, Enterprise Supply Chain

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Business
  • 5+ years procurement and project/program experience on large-scale ($100M+) projects
  • Experience with strategic sourcing, supplier development, contract negotiation, and cost analysis
  • Experience with global sourcing, new product introduction, and ERP Systems (SAP/Oracle)
  • Capabilities in project management, risk management, and stakeholder communication
  • Preferred regulatory knowledge (ISO, AS9100)
  • Preferred certifications: PMP, CPSM/CIPS, or Six Sigma
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally
  • Ability to meet United States and comparable export control requirements where applicable
