About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage quality assurance activities for major capital projects exceeding $100M
- Monitor compliance with established project quality standards, specifications, and requirements
- Coordinate vendor surveillance, shop audits, inspections, and quality reviews
- Support quality oversight across renewable energy, power plant, and industrial construction projects
- Identify potential quality concerns and guide resolution with project teams, contractors, and vendors
- Serve as the project quality subject matter expert, providing guidance and recommendations
- Manage project documentation and communication using Microsoft Office and remote collaboration tools
- Report directly to the hiring manager overseeing major capital project quality projects within the SPS region
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years of experience in project management, quality assurance, quality management, construction, or a related field
- Demonstrated experience supporting large capital projects valued at $100M or more
- Experience with industrial construction, power generation, renewable energy, or utility projects
- Experience conducting or supporting vendor surveillance, vendor quality reviews, and shop audits
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and remote collaboration tools
- Ability to meet applicable United States export control requirements
