About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the strategic direction, operational execution, and continuous evolution of the IAM Onboarding, Integration, and Validation organization
- Ensure enterprise applications, platforms, and technology solutions are validated as onboarded and integrated into the firm’s IAM ecosystem
- Serve as liaison between cybersecurity, technology, application owners, risk management, compliance, audit, and business stakeholders
- Drive assessment and validation activities for application onboarding into IAM services and capabilities
- Champion automation opportunities and ensure access governance processes mitigate risk while enabling business growth
- Oversee complex IAM onboarding and integration initiatives
- Validate entitlement structures, provisioning controls, role models, segregation of duties requirements, and identity data accuracy
- Establish and execute strategy to improve onboarding efficiency, integration quality, data integrity, control effectiveness, and customer experience
- Identify, assess, and resolve challenges, risks, and control gaps
- Provide strategic guidance to senior leaders regarding IAM-related risks, priorities, and remediation plans
- Lead enterprise IAM validation programs across a diverse application portfolio
- Manage and develop a team of individual contributors
- Support adoption of Identity Governance and Administration, authentication, authorization, and access certification capabilities
- Establish governance processes for onboarding standards, security controls, and data quality
- Manage onboarding validation pipelines, operational metrics, service-level objectives, and program performance reporting
- Partner with risk, compliance, audit, and cybersecurity organizations to address findings and implement corrective actions
- Build and develop a high-performing team of IAM professionals
- Foster accountability, continuous improvement, innovation, and talent development
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of Information Security Analysis experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
- 2+ years of Leadership experience
- 3+ years of Identity Access Management experience
- 3+ years of Technology or Business controls experience preferred
- 3+ years related work experience in financial industry operations or systems
- Strong understanding of IAM frameworks, identity governance, and security best practices
- Experience with IAM technologies such as Saviynt, Microsoft Azure AD, CyberArk, Okta, or similar platforms
- Experience with authentication protocols including SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, and LDAP
- Experience with compliance frameworks
- Experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives across multiple organizational departments/divisions
- Proven ability to conceptualize, drive, and deliver multiple concurrent projects on time
- CISSP, CISM, or other relevant information security professional certifications
- Ability to work in office as part of a hybrid schedule
- Not eligible for Visa sponsorship
- Ability to travel for business up to 10%
