Key responsibilities & impact
  • Consult on, design, and implement statistically robust testing strategies for marketing customer growth, engagement, and campaign performance
  • Partner with stakeholders to optimize testing approaches and improve efficiency across marketing initiatives
  • Plan and size marketing strategies with cross-functional stakeholders, aligning test design with business objectives and growth opportunities
  • Design, consult on, and execute test-and-learn experiments
  • Support monthly forecasting by estimating future performance using historical data, including return on marketing investment
  • Evaluate marketing levers and identify optimization opportunities
  • Develop and maintain a forward-looking learning agenda for continuous refinement of marketing strategies
  • Apply advanced analytics and programming to interpret data, solve complex problems, and inform business decisions
  • Lead large-scale, cross-functional planning for marketing initiatives using advanced analytical and statistical techniques
  • Generate actionable insights, trends, and recommendations
  • Provide guidance on data science best practices, methodologies, and tools
  • Lead projects and mentor teammates
  • Collaborate with peers, partners, and mid- to senior-level leaders on data-driven recommendations
  • Translate complex analyses into actionable insights for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, including senior leadership
  • Ensure compliance with applicable legal, regulatory, and compliance standards

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of data science experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of work experience, training, military experience, or education
  • Master's degree or higher in a quantitative discipline such as mathematics, statistics, engineering, physics, economics, or computer science
  • 2+ years of experience in statistical design of experiments, analytics, or forecasting for marketing initiatives
  • Experience consulting on, analyzing, and delivering insights that drive business impact
  • Project management skills, including prioritizing and managing multiple projects, meeting deadlines, communicating effectively, collaborating across teams, and adapting to changing priorities
  • Leadership skills, including leading and influencing initiatives, guiding decision-making, identifying and escalating risks, driving solutions, and coordinating work across teams and stakeholders
  • Experience with Excel
  • Experience with programming languages such as SQL, Python, R, or SAS
  • Experience with large datasets, including data manipulation and engineering
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI
  • Experience with Design of Experiments / Hypothesis Testing using marketing data
  • Ability to travel 10% of the time
  • Must be able to work from one of the approved job posting locations three days in office and two days remote
