About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Define and execute the product vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap for foundational AI capabilities across HR
  • Lead development of the HR knowledge platform and shared AI services, including reusable data and integration capabilities
  • Evaluate enterprise AI capabilities and decide whether to reuse, adapt, or extend them for HR needs
  • Drive experimentation from concept to prototype and MVP using evidence and user feedback
  • Own the product backlog and partner with agile delivery teams to plan, sequence, and release platform capabilities
  • Advise HR leaders on complex, high-value business problems and convert them into product outcomes, use cases, requirements, and success criteria
  • Collaborate with engineering, architecture, data science, data management, and enterprise platform teams on interoperable capabilities and integration patterns, including MCP and emerging standards
  • Own prioritization, sequencing, dependencies, and tradeoff decisions across foundational AI capabilities and HR use cases
  • Balance innovation with responsible AI, privacy, security, model risk, legal, compliance, and control requirements
  • Drive adoption through enablement, onboarding, and clear consumption patterns
  • Define and monitor adoption, performance, reuse, business value, and risk metrics to improve the platform and inform roadmap decisions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 7+ years of Product Management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery, or agile product owner experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
  • Experience defining product strategy and roadmaps for AI platforms, shared services, or reusable enterprise capabilities
  • Experience with AI products, including generative AI, machine learning, agentic AI, retrieval-augmented generation, and enterprise knowledge architecture
  • Experience taking emerging technology from concept through production, adoption, and scale in a highly regulated enterprise
  • Experience partnering with risk, legal, privacy, cybersecurity, and compliance teams
  • Experience with AI interoperability and integration patterns, including orchestration and connections between AI solutions and enterprise tools
  • Experience evaluating build, buy, reuse, and partnership options and translating technical tradeoffs into product and investment recommendations
  • Experience with HR technology and data ecosystems, such as Workday, ServiceNow HRSD, PeopleSoft, SAP, Oracle, or comparable platforms
  • Ability to translate complex AI concepts into business outcomes and executive communications
  • Ability to influence senior leaders and drive decisions across matrixed, ambiguous environments
  • Proven experience leading AI-driven HR initiatives and delivering AI-powered solutions with data science, engineering, and HR teams
