About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Participate in the ten-week Technology Internship Program orientation and training
- Complete relevant work assignments, real-world training, group projects, and professional development activities
- Software engineering: design, develop, test, prepare, and integrate applications; enhance existing applications, resolve bugs, develop new applications, and support application integration and data integrity
- Create and support reusable frameworks, data warehouses, and analytics environments
- Develop data models, maintain data warehouses and analytics environments, and write data integration and analysis scripts
- Build and maintain data pipelines
- Contribute to the technical evolution of services in partnership with enterprise architecture, product management, and partner teams
- Work within Agile Scrum or Kanban settings
- Cybersecurity: design, document, test, maintain, and recommend issue resolutions for security solutions across networking, cryptography, cloud, authentication, email, internet, applications, and endpoint security
- Assist with security consulting and moderately complex security projects related to data access, integrity, confidentiality, and business continuity
- Review system security issues, procedures, testing, emergencies, installations, and conversions
- Chief Data Office: develop tooling to discover problems in data and applications and report issues to engineering and product leadership
- Clean, transform, validate, interpret, and analyze large datasets
- Develop data models, data warehouses, analytics environments, and scalable data pipelines
- Apply statistical and machine learning techniques and use visualization platforms to support decision-making
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Finance, data engineering, and analytics teams
- Support data governance, data quality, regulatory compliance, AI adoption, advanced analytics, and companywide technology standards
Requirements
What you’ll need- 6+ months of work experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or another Technology STEM-related major, with expected graduation between December 2027 and June 2028
- Successful completion of the 2026 Technology Internship Program
- Demonstrated knowledge and/or experience with Java, cloud technology, .NET, Python, SQL, or related technical skills
- Demonstrated understanding of algorithms, data structures, and developing APIs
- Experience in software development shipping cycles, including Development, Deploy, Release, CI, and CD
- Demonstrated experience leveraging AI, including generative and/or agentic AI, prompt engineering, and data labeling
- Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills, including ability to articulate challenges and recommend solutions
- Ability to work effectively and independently in a collaborative, change-driven atmosphere
- Proactive, curious self-starter with genuine interest in learning and growth
- Extracurricular enrichment involvement through volunteerism, student organizations, study abroad, leadership, or nonprofit activities
- Must be presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States
- Position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
