About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Join Whitecliffe’s independent contractor pool for potential future engagements
- Provide lecturing or teaching on a short- or long-term basis
- Conduct assessment and marking
- Provide postgraduate supervision or co-supervision
- Provide mentoring and guest lecturing
- Perform degree monitoring or moderation
- Provide other academic or programme support
- Complete the application and submit required documentation
- Undergo Programme Head review and HR compliance check
- Begin work only after engagement approval, documentation completion, and contract signing
Requirements
What you’ll need- Relevant qualifications and current expertise appropriate to the programme level and proposed activities
- Equivalent experience must be clearly documented if relied upon
- Capability and expertise appropriate to assigned teaching, assessment or moderation responsibilities
- Evidence of research activity and expertise appropriate to contribution to degree and postgraduate provision
- Appropriate research and supervision skills and experience for postgraduate supervision, in line with AC21
- Supervisors without at least two postgraduate student completions must work as co-supervisor alongside a lead supervisor
- Complete every field in the application form
- Attach all required documents; incomplete applications will not be reviewed
- Current CV
- Most relevant and highest academic qualification or academic transcript
- Evidence of teaching, assessment or moderation experience
- Supervision history, including number of postgraduate completions
- Proof of right to work in New Zealand, or remote work eligibility if based overseas
- Conflict of Interest Form required as part of onboarding
- Qualifications may be verified through the NZQA Portal
- Signed contract required before work begins
