About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Plan and execute IT deployments, upgrades, and migrations at new and existing locations
Install, configure, and test POS systems, including DRB and ICS, payment kiosks, network devices, and related hardware and software
Troubleshoot networks, tunnel controllers, ground loops, cameras, phones, wireless systems, and other site technology
Provide advanced support for the IT Support team
Respond to site equipment failures
Participate in the support call queue when not in the field
Partner with Operations, Maintenance, and vendors
Document completed work
Provide training and post-deployment support

Requirements

What you’ll need

Five years of IT operations experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IT, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered
Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, POS systems, IT hardware and software, control systems, low-voltage systems, and cameras
Hands-on troubleshooting skills
Ability to manage technical projects and work semi-autonomously
Clear communication and effective documentation skills
Ability to explain technical issues to a range of audiences
Ability to travel up to 85%
Ability to work in office and active car wash environments
Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds
ITIL, CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar certifications are a plus
Must be at least 18 years old
Legally authorized to work in the United States
Willingness to submit to a comprehensive background check including DMV check if offered employment
