Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Registration to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office
  • Approximately 10+ years of private practice experience advising clients on patent, trademark, technology, and intellectual property matters
  • Demonstrated record of counseling inventors, entrepreneurs, manufacturers, technology companies, and business owners on complex intellectual property challenges
  • Significant experience evaluating patent portfolios, intellectual property risks, innovation strategies, and competitive positioning
  • Portable book of business
  • Commitment to developing enduring client and referral relationships
  • Ability to translate complex legal and technical concepts into practical, business-focused advice
  • Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school
  • Membership in the Florida Bar or eligibility for admission
