About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Maintain equipment and support pipeline operations
Read and interpret drawings
Inspect and supervise equipment
Maintain operating and technical standards and governmental requirements
Analyze data and collaborate to resolve technical and operational problems
Follow Company policies and operating and maintenance procedures
Operate facilities safely and efficiently while protecting communities, personnel, the environment, and assets
Maintain knowledge of site, location, equipment, and permitting
Complete assigned reports and logs
Maintain accurate records of process operations
Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School Diploma/GED
Minimum two (2) years’ related experience
Minimum one (1) year experience as a technician in the oil and gas industry
Must reside within a 60-mile radius of either Craig, Colorado, or Meeker, Colorado
Willingness to work in extreme temperatures, loud noises, and enclosed spaces
Ability to carry or lift items up to 50 lbs and team lift loads over 50 lbs
Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, and squat for long periods
Ability to work at elevated levels using man lifts, ladders, scaffolding, and/or small towers with appropriate PPE
Ability to use hand tools
Availability for after-hours work, on-call rotations, nights, weekends, and holidays
Willingness to work overtime and 10–12 hour shifts
Willingness to travel between Williams locations with occasional overnight stays
Valid State Driver’s License and clean driving record
Aptitude for technology and applications
Excellent organizational/interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and PC skills
Proficiency in Process Control Systems and Programmable Logic Controllers
Preferred: Associates or two-year technical degree
