About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead teams implementing complex project plans and programs
- Coordinate with internal and external business partners
- Establish core project teams
- Coordinate technical resources under the Project Life Cycle
- Develop project reports, presentations, schedules, and costing forecasts
- Present and implement engineering and operational-efficiency recommendations
- Prepare, review, and approve requests for proposals, evaluations, and contractor selections
- Assess project economics and drive solutions
- Anticipate issues, gather information, assess opportunities, analyze alternatives, and make key decisions
- Develop project solutions that improve economic profit over the project life
- Run moderate-to-large projects with high quality and focus on business partners
- Lead project teams and contractors while meeting deadlines
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Minimum 15 years’ experience in oil and gas engineering/project management
- Willingness to travel up to 50%
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Safety as the utmost priority
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills
- Solid understanding of PLC/Stage-Gate processes
- Extensive experience with facility construction or operations in the oil and gas industry
- Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or construction management
- Preferred: Master’s degree in business, project management or engineering management
- Preferred: PMP certification
- Preferred: PE certification
- Preferred: Microsoft Specialist Project Certification (MS)
