About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform moderately difficult assignments to ensure system integrity, support pipeline operations, maintain compliance, and maintain facility equipment
  • Troubleshoot and resolve sophisticated problems through technical evaluation, innovation, and judgment
  • Develop, present, and deliver training to internal and external partners
  • Coordinate or mentor team members
  • Participate in project planning and collaborate with company partners
  • Lead development and tasks related to operations, equipment maintenance, technical standards, and governmental requirements
  • Read, understand, and evaluate engineering design documents, contracts, and agreements
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum six years of experience in the oil & gas industry
  • Current API 510 certification
  • Current API 570 certification
  • Demonstrated experience in Mechanical Integrity
  • Experience in inspection planning
  • Experience with risk-based decision making
  • Experience in asset integrity management
  • Valid State Driver’s License and clean driving record
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and PC skills
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to work in extreme temperatures, loud noises, and enclosed spaces
  • Ability to carry or lift items up to 50 lbs and team lift heavier loads as needed
  • Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, and squat for extended periods
  • Ability to work at elevated levels using man lifts, ladders, scaffolding, and/or small towers with appropriate PPE
  • Ability to use hand tools
  • Availability for after-hours work, on-call rotations, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Willingness to work overtime and 10–12 hour shifts
  • Willingness to travel between Williams locations, including occasional overnight stays
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical field and ten years of progressive experience are preferred
