About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform basic design of Roadway
- Support production of construction plans and documents
- Complete quantity take-offs and cost estimating
- Coordinate with other disciplines, both internal and external
- Collaborate with project managers, support staff, clients, engineers, and technicians to ensure successful task completion
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong work ethic and understanding of engineering principles
- Experience in CADD utilizing AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroStation
- Proven teamwork and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word and Excel
- Good interpersonal skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively communicate thoughts and ideas to peers, senior staff, and clients
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related curriculum from an ABET-accredited school
- Engineering Intern Certification
- 1–3 years’ experience in civil design
- Ability to effectively work with other engineers and technicians
- Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroStation software is highly preferred
- Not currently sponsoring applicants for work visas
