About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Architect the future of autonomous logistics and define how individuals, merchants, and partners interact with Wing’s drone delivery ecosystem
- Lead end-to-end design across the full product lifecycle, from discovery and user journeys through information architecture, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity visual execution
- Craft consumer-facing mobile application experiences and scalable integration experiences for retail and delivery partners
- Map and optimize service workflows connecting merchant fulfillment, ground operations, and real-time delivery logistics
- Design internal tools and operational dashboards for configuring, monitoring, and managing autonomous aircraft and delivery networks
- Partner with UX Research on user interviews, studies, and testing, translating qualitative insights into design decisions
- Contribute to, evolve, and scale Wing’s design system and visual language
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Hardware, and Aviation Operations teams to navigate technical and regulatory constraints
- Elevate design quality through design critiques and mentorship
Requirements
What you’ll need- 15+ years of experience in design, product design, or interaction design
- Proven track record of designing and shipping impactful consumer, enterprise, or multi-platform software products
- Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design process, systems thinking, interaction and visual design craft, and shipped products
- BA/BS degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field, or equivalent industry experience
- Experience designing for complex, multi-sided ecosystems, physical-software workflows, or automated/AI-powered systems where building user trust is critical
- Expert proficiency in modern design and prototyping tools, such as Figma and rapid/AI-assisted prototyping
- Experience contributing to or scaling design systems
- Ability to operate autonomously in high-ambiguity environments, frame complex problems, and drive design vision and strategy
- Strong communication, storytelling, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Track record of design leadership as an individual contributor, including elevating design quality standards, establishing design processes, and mentoring fellow designers
