About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Deliver an accurate demand forecast for the business unit using an effective S&OP+ process
Drive the local Demand Planning process and orchestrate end-to-end alignment across markets
Analyze and forecast future product demand with Marketing, Trade Marketing, Sales, Operations and Finance
Own the business cycle through data analysis, consolidation and agreement with cross-functional teams
Facilitate the DMR and top-line analysis for the Executive S&OP+ meeting
Support continuous improvement as a change agent
Integrate innovation into the process to avoid write-offs and backorders for phasing-out products
Consolidate demand risks and opportunities and define actions to optimize inventory
Work with Supply Planning to implement stock coverage strategies that maximize service levels and optimize working capital
Collaborate with local and global Marketing, Sales, Trade Marketing, Finance, Operations and IT teams
Promote S&OP+ across the organization, including inventory and supply, to empower an end-to-end vision
Measure process performance using Forecast Accuracy and BIAS KPIs and drive corrective action plans

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree from an Engineering or Business School
Experience in Sales Forecasting and/or Supply Chain within the food industry
Knowledge of the GMS (large-scale retail) environment
Strong ability to work with data, with excellent analytical and synthesis skills
High level of rigour, including meeting deadlines and ensuring the quality of results
Strong communication skills, including active listening, dialogue and the ability to challenge
Ability to anticipate, take initiative and work autonomously
Strong knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables and functions), Power BI, ERP and/or forecasting tools
Knowledge of a forecasting tool such as IBP
Fluent English and French are required
