About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Research, analyze, and map the global robotics industry and its subsectors from end-to-end
- Attend conferences, read industry publications, and speak with other experts to identify significant developments
- Keep industry knowledge up to date
- Serve as the internal and external subject-matter expert on robotics
- Work closely with product and engineering teams to improve coverage of robotics and related industries in the WireScreen platform
- Write reports for customers, prospective customers, and internal stakeholders on key industry topics
- Report directly to the COO
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
- 3+ years of experience writing about or researching the robotics industry
- Deep knowledge of and passion for the robotics industry and its supply chain
- Master's degree preferred
- Published reports, articles, or research on the robotics industry shareable during the application process preferred
- Experience mapping supply chains at the input/technology level preferred
- Experience using OSINT research methods preferred
- Experience presenting research findings externally preferred
- Ability to work onsite in the NYC office 3 days a week
- Currently located in NYC or willing and able to relocate at own expense before starting
- Authorization to work for any employer in the United States
- Must not require visa sponsorship to work in the United States
