About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Research, analyze, and map the global semiconductor industry and its subsectors from end-to-end
- Attend conferences, read industry publications, and speak with experts to identify significant developments
- Serve as the internal and external semiconductor subject-matter expert
- Work closely with product and engineering teams to improve semiconductor and related-industry coverage in the WireScreen platform
- Write reports for customers, prospective customers, and internal stakeholders on key industry topics
- Report directly to the COO
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
- 3+ years of experience writing about or researching the semiconductor industry
- Deep knowledge of and passion for the semiconductor industry and its supply chain
- Master's degree preferred
- Published reports, articles, or research on the semiconductor industry that you’re able to share as part of the application process preferred
- Experience mapping supply chains at the input/technology level preferred
- Experience using OSINT research methods preferred
- Experience presenting research findings externally preferred
- Must be currently authorized to work for any employer in the United States or be able to address visa sponsorship requirements
- Must be located in NYC or willing and able to relocate at own expense before starting
- Must work onsite in the NYC office 3 days a week
