About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage customer service and post-sale support for Credit Insurance policies.
- Oversee the full policy lifecycle, including implementation, maintenance, renewals, customer information updates, and operational support.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between clients, insurers, banks, and internal teams, ensuring prompt resolution of requests and alignment of information.
- Monitor policy expiration dates, renewals, and outstanding items, taking preventive action to mitigate risks and maintain the portfolio.
- Provide consultative support to clients regarding coverage, contractual terms, credit limits, and insurance operating procedures.
- Coordinate and monitor requests related to claims, indemnification, recoveries, and other post-sale matters.
- Ensure the quality and accuracy of records and information in internal and insurer systems.
- Prepare management reports and portfolio performance indicators, identifying opportunities to improve processes and increase customer satisfaction.
- Strengthen relationships with insurers, strategic partners, and banks to improve operational efficiency and expand business opportunities.
- Support the sales team in retaining, renewing, and expanding the Credit Insurance portfolio by identifying cross-selling and upselling opportunities.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree completed.
- Experience using insurance management systems, CRM platforms, and Microsoft Office tools.
- Proven experience in Credit Insurance, Trade Credit, or related products, particularly in operations, customer service, or post-sale support.
- Knowledge of policy administration processes, renewals, endorsements, credit limits, notices of non-payment, and claims.
- Experience working with insurers, corporate clients, financial institutions, and distribution partners.
- Knowledge of Credit Insurance portfolio analysis and monitoring routines.
- Ability to interpret insurance contracts, general terms and conditions, clauses, and technical documentation.
- Knowledge of customer service, retention, and portfolio renewal metrics.
- Experience managing operational requests and resolving issues with multiple stakeholders.
- Preferred: Familiarity with credit, collections, credit risk, and receivables financing processes.
- Preferred: Certification or coursework in Insurance, Credit, or Risk Management.
- Preferred: Previous experience at insurance brokers, insurers, or banks working with Credit Insurance.
- Preferred: Knowledge of related products such as Surety Bonds, Political Risk Insurance, Domestic Credit Insurance, and Export Credit Insurance.
- Preferred: Intermediate or advanced English proficiency for interaction with international insurers and partners.
- Preferred: Experience preparing management reports and analyzing portfolio performance indicators.
