About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as a system administrator for B2C Salesforce Commerce Cloud webstores and the Salesforce ecosystem, including SFCC, SFSC and SOM
- Handle user roles and permissions, sandbox management, system preferences and operational tasks
- Manage site preferences and Business Manager configurations to optimize stability, performance, security and compliance
- Stay current with e-commerce technology and Salesforce Commerce Cloud trends and best practices
- Work with brand teams to understand business needs and customize Salesforce accordingly
- Perform data hygiene checks and cleanup to ensure data integrity and SEO optimization
- Ensure platform stability, reliability and speed, and implement improvements
- Manage platform security and compliance with industry regulations and standards
- Develop and maintain platform documentation, user guides, playbooks, training materials and technical documentation
- Provide training to internal users
- Work with IT and Product teams to identify and address technical issues and implement platform enhancements
- Monitor and analyze platform performance and make data-driven recommendations
- Perform other assigned duties consistent with company policies and manager direction
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of experience as a Salesforce Commerce Cloud Administrator
- 2+ years of experience managing Service Cloud, Sales Cloud and Salesforce Order Management
- 1+ year of experience developing and implementing effective security and compliance improvements and best practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, using data to make informed decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects at once
- Familiarity with industry standards related to e-commerce and data privacy
- Salesforce Commerce Cloud certification is preferred
