About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and maintain Vue.js applications as the primary interface for robotics
  • Provide restaurant team members with real-time visibility and controls for robotic machines
  • Build and optimize WebSocket-based systems for high-frequency backend data
  • Partner with Product Designers to translate Figma mockups into user interfaces
  • Provide technical feedback balancing ambitious UX with high-performance implementation
  • Diagnose and solve frontend performance bottlenecks
  • Ensure complex state changes do not compromise the user experience in high-pressure kitchen environments
  • Collaborate with software, hardware, and product teams
  • Learn and work across the broader technology stack, including Elixir/Phoenix when needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years of professional frontend development experience
  • Deep expertise in Vue.js or similar frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Svelte
  • TypeScript and CSS expertise
  • Strong experience with a centralized state management store
  • Deep understanding of complex, reactive data structures
  • Strong eye for UI/UX and ability to contribute to design discussions
  • Proven experience building applications using persistent, two-way communication protocols for real-time updates
  • Ability to identify bottlenecks using profiling tools and solve performance issues under heavy loads
  • Willingness to learn the Elixir/Phoenix layer when needed
  • Ability to work 3 days a week in the office
