About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Deliver and coordinate major WTG and OSS foundation design projects with in-house technical teams
  • Act as the main client contact and provide project leadership for detailed offshore wind foundation design projects
  • Strategically meet project objectives and manage client expectations
  • Manage project financial performance and commercial success
  • Ensure technical integration across disciplines and final technical deliverables
  • Manage contractual requirements, change, risk, safety, and budget across the project scope
  • Collaborate with project design teams on technical topics and key design decisions
  • Prepare management reporting on project requirements, programme, resources, budget, risks, and project status
  • Engage regularly with clients and external parties
  • Support business development and develop industry networks
  • Support senior management and model a professional project management culture

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10+ years of relevant experience leading and taking accountability of detailed foundation design projects in offshore wind with international clients
  • Experience managing major complex projects
  • Fluent in English
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Degree (MSc or PhD) in Civil, Structural, Mechanical Engineering or a related field relevant for offshore wind is advantageous
  • Broad technical knowledge of WTG and OSS offshore wind foundations and sector-specific engineering challenges is advantageous
  • Profound experience with contract and risk management is advantageous
  • Track record of senior stakeholder engagement and client relationship management is advantageous
  • Experience from a similar position in consulting engineering is advantageous
  • Very strong decision-making skills and judgement capabilities
  • Experience achieving high levels of project team well-being
  • Well-organised mindset adaptable to a high-growth company
