About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform concept, basic and detailed design engineering activities for assigned projects
- Design industrial pharmaceutical buildings, including architectural and process layout arrangements
- Design concrete and steel structures, pipe racks, pharmaceutical and civil finishing
- Prepare and review architectural layouts, door schedules, finishing schedules, sections, views, structural documents and underground installations
- Prepare technical specifications and subcontract requisitions for civil and architectural works
- Coordinate discipline and external resources, and control and forecast work area activities and deliverables against schedule
- Interface with external resources, other disciplines, departments and clients
- Support project management activities for projects, project managers and executives
- Follow up on site of civil and finishing works
- Keep clients informed of project progress and overcome project challenges
- Work according to ISO quality and environmental management systems
Requirements
What you’ll need- MSc / BSc degree in Civil engineering
- Previous experience in a Civil engineering role of 2 years
- Experience in pharmaceutical sector is appreciated
- Knowledge of REVIT software and BIM methodology
- Knowledge of TECLA software is considered a plus
- Competencies in sustainability design
- Ability to work across multi-disciplinary teams
- Demonstrated understanding of risk-based design methodologies, safe plant layout practices, quality management systems and engineering change control processes
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills
- Fluent in spoken and written Italian and English is a mandatory requirement
- Eligible to work in Italy
- Availability of working on assignment at clients’ or Wood’s sites/offices is a mandatory requirement
