About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide construction and constructability input throughout all project phases, from feasibility studies and FEED projects through detailed engineering and EPCM execution
- Liaise with designers, engineers, project management and construction personnel to integrate construction requirements into design
- Participate in site surveys and field assessments
- Assist with construction strategies, execution philosophies and contracting approaches
- Support constructability studies and construction methodology reviews
- Prepare and review installation sequences, construction work packages and execution plans
- Contribute to heavy lifting and special transportation studies
- Assist the Home Office Construction Manager with project logistics and material management strategies
- Evaluate modularization and offsite construction opportunities
- Prepare construction-related requisitions and technical documentation
- Interface with international contractors, fabrication yards, heavy lift contractors and specialized vendors
- Participate in technical bid evaluations and contractor qualification processes
- Perform contractor assessments, audits, site visits and fabrication shop inspections when required
- Review project requirements and support the Construction Execution Plan
- Liaise with field construction teams to verify constructability effectiveness and identify improvements
- Maintain records for quality assurance and project requirements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Graduate in Engineering
- At least two years of experience in a similar or comparable role
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
- Willingness to learn and use new software, digital platforms and project execution tools
- Fluent in English and Italian
- International mobility and availability to be assigned is essential
- Understanding of multidisciplinary engineering workflows, from basic design through issue for construction (desirable)
- Understanding of construction execution, constructability and project delivery principles (desirable)
- Familiarity with modularization, offsite fabrication, heavy lifting or industrial construction activities (desirable)
