About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide QA/QC expertise for design and execution of work-scope on various projects for a key contract
- Review supplier documentation for purchased products to confirm compliance with requirements
- Perform QA/QC activities at office facilities and vendor manufacturing sites
- Review and assess QA/QC requirements of tenders and contract documentation
- Review and approve Supplier Inspection and Test Plans
- Liaise with client quality personnel on project quality activities
- Evaluate potential suppliers and subcontractors
- Review, coordinate, monitor, and supervise supplier Quality Plans
- Assist with development, implementation, and effectiveness monitoring of corrective actions
- Supervise and conduct quality capability assessments of vendors and subcontractors
- Report directly to the Quality Manager
- Support safe, reliable operations and client satisfaction while upholding Wood values and standards
Requirements
What you’ll need- Full work rights to work in this Australian location
- Technical Diploma or Business / Commerce / Engineering Degree from a recognized institution (ideally)
- Minimum of 7+ years of proven experience in a similar role
- Understanding of QA/QC principles and objectives
- Proven experience in QC review of supplier documentation for compliance
- Proven experience in internal and external auditing with knowledge of relevant regulations and legislation
- Excellent knowledge of ISO and experience successfully implementing ISO Frameworks in a training environment
- Excellent analytical, literacy and numerical skills
- Excellent communication skills with proven experience in client-facing roles
- Well-developed computer skills and knowledge of relevant software packages
- Ability to manage varying tasks with changing and competing priorities
- Relevant experience in Offshore/Onshore LNG or O&G brownfields engineering EPCM sector in Australia is an advantage
- Experience working across multiple concurrent projects is an advantage
