About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and coordinate small / medium process teams
- Perform concept, basic, and detailed design process activities for pharmaceutical facilities, including API, OSD, biotech, and fill/finish
- Prepare and review project-specific deliverables, including mass/energy balances, PFDs, P&IDs, data sheets, technical specifications, equipment lists, equipment layouts, and utilities consumption lists
- Interface with other disciplines, clients, and equipment suppliers
- Support team workload sharing and cover during periods of absence
- Work according to quality and environmental management systems maintained to ISO standards
- Provide technical assistance to construction teams as a Senior Field Process Engineer when assigned to site
Requirements
What you’ll need- MSc degree in Chemical, Process or Biotech engineering
- Leadership and coordination skills
- Knowledge of typical pharmaceutical processes (API, OSD, biotech, fill/finish) and their relevant norms
- Knowledge of functional / mechanical features of process equipment typical of the pharmaceutical industry
- Ability to work across multi-discipline teams
- Eligible to work in Belgium
- Fluent English and French
- Previous experience at a construction site is desirable
