About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design and create UI screens, icons, flows, buttons, and game components for early-stage casual free-to-play mobile games
  • Maintain and evolve UI style guides and design systems
  • Own UX for new game prototypes and ensure mechanics are intuitive and easy to onboard into
  • Translate game design and monetization requirements into clear, player-friendly interfaces
  • Collaborate with artists, game designers, product managers, and engineers
  • Scope, prioritize, and independently own delivery of work
  • Report directly to the Creative Director of New Games

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Prior experience in the mobile gaming industry
  • Strong UI design and execution skills and sharp UX instincts
  • Understanding of onboarding, retention, and monetization-friendly design patterns
  • 2D art skills for UI execution, including icons, popups, liveops screens, and supporting visual elements
  • Portfolio demonstrating UI production, UX validation, and supporting art
  • Ability to work autonomously and resolve ambiguous problems while incorporating feedback
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to explain decisions clearly to cross-disciplinary stakeholders
  • Proficiency with standard design tools such as Figma, Photoshop, or equivalent
  • Proficiency with Unity for implementation and testing
  • Comfort working in a small team, prototyping, wearing multiple hats, and shifting between conceptual and hands-on work
