About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and create site layout plans aligned with client requirements and Woolpert standards.
- Use AutoCAD Civil 3D to develop concept plans, grading plans, and site designs.
- Provide technical support and lead site/civil design, hydrology/hydraulics, erosion and sedimentation control, and stormwater management.
- Coordinate permitting with counties and local municipalities.
- Prioritize workflow and complete multiple tasks.
- Work with project management to identify impediments and implement solutions.
- Perform pavement assessments and compile data and reports.
- Conduct occasional field work, frequent local travel, and overnight travel as needed.
- Mentor and train junior staff members.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 4 years related experience.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Experience in Autodesk Civil 3D.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Autodesk Vehicle Tracking, Storm and Sanitary Analysis, PondPack, and Microsoft Suite products.
- Experience in Hydraulics and Hydrology preferred.
- Must be able to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries from clients, regulatory agencies, and/or members of the business community.
- Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to provide excellent client service.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational, time management, attention to detail, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Applicants must already possess work authorization in the country the job is located; visa sponsorship is unavailable.
