About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Collect and analyze site and patient enrollment actuals and forecasts with Central Planning and Clinical Operations teams
- Develop, maintain, and continuously improve forecasting models used outside of Medidata Payments
- Integrate forecasting data and processes with Medidata Payments forecasts
- Partner with Revenue Recognition teams to align forecasting with audit and financial reporting requirements
- Create accurate, client-ready forecast deliverables according to sponsor contractual requirements
- Analyze forecast performance through plan-versus-actual results and budget variances
- Communicate over-forecast and under-forecast risks to Project Analysts and Global Project Leads
- Support audit activities, change order processes, and study closeout reconciliations
- Prepare final forecasting and reconciliation reports for client delivery and project review
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree
- 2–5 years of finance experience
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial and operational data
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, databases, and accounting systems
- Understanding of clinical site payment processes
- Knowledge of accounting principles and revenue recognition standards
- Ability to influence stakeholders, challenge assumptions, and work collaboratively across functions
- Experience supporting financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, or reconciliation activities
- Proficiency in English
