About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and oversee clinical data management teams and study portfolios to support successful project execution and budget management
- Serve as the primary escalation point for study-related issues and drive timely resolution with internal and external stakeholders
- Represent the organization in sponsor governance meetings and foster strong sponsor relationships
- Manage team resources, ensuring projects are appropriately staffed and aligned with individual capabilities and workload demands
- Coach, mentor, and develop team members through training, objective setting, performance management, and career development support
- Partner with business development teams by contributing to proposals, presentations, and sponsor-facing discussions
- Support audits, inspections, and third-party reviews, driving corrective actions and continuous improvement where needed
- Act as a subject matter expert for assigned data management processes, providing guidance, training, documentation oversight, and quality leadership
- Lead departmental initiatives focused on process improvements, operational efficiencies, and best practices across the data management function
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or higher in biomedical sciences, life sciences, computer science, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience
- Minimum 9 years of experience in clinical data management or a related role within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device industries
- 2–4 years of people management experience
- Ability to work remotely from Argentina
- Travel may be required for sponsor governance meetings, audits, inspections, and other business-related activities
