About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop, write, and update promotional medical education content for healthcare providers, patients, and internal pharmaceutical teams
- Create slide decks, advisory board materials, interactive PDFs, video scripts, flashcards, brochures, and other relevant content
- Develop, attend, and report on advisory and conference programs
- Provide on-site support at advisory programs, key client meetings, congresses, and other events
- Understand the competitive landscape and key healthcare providers and their stakeholder roles
- Coordinate with senior scientific staff
- Attend internal and external meetings and update content as appropriate
- Interact with and provide scientific support to clients
- Support new business efforts
- Travel as required
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 2-3 years medical writing experience, preferably in a health care marketing or communications agency internship, preceptorship or equivalent
- Ability to understand complex scientific and medical literature
- Ability to develop clear, concise, and consistent content
- Experience developing medical communications materials, including slide decks, live and virtual advisory boards, agendas, meeting decks, summaries, speaker bureau materials and training, brochures and flashcards
- Works effectively within a team, including both internal and external partners
- Microsoft Office proficiency (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Master of Science, PhD, PharmD, or equivalent
