About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and build production-grade AI agents with LangGraph to automate multi-step workflows
Deploy, run and scale agents on Amazon Bedrock AgentCore using runtime, memory, identity and gateway capabilities
Track agent operating costs and maintain efficiency as usage grows
Partner with Marketing, Sales, Support, Operations and Finance to identify high-impact workflows and gather requirements
Integrate agents with internal systems, APIs and third-party tools to take real actions
Build evaluation, observability and guardrail frameworks to measure quality and catch failures
Establish reusable patterns, shared tools and best practices for the Agentic Systems team
Own agents from prototype through production, measure impact and iterate using usage data and feedback
Drive adoption through documentation, training and enablement

Requirements

What you’ll need

6+ years of back-end development experience with Python, TypeScript/Node.js or Java
Track record of delivering systems built for security, scalability, availability and performance
Hands-on experience building and shipping LLM-powered agents or workflows, including prompting, tool use and structured outputs
Experience with models such as Claude, GPT, Llama or Mistral
Production experience with at least one agent or LLM framework, such as LangGraph, LangChain, LlamaIndex or AutoGen
Understanding of AI architectures including RAG, reranking and multi-agent orchestration
Security-first approach to data access, permissions and failure modes
Strong product sense and communication skills; ability to work with non-technical teams
Comfort with ambiguity and ownership mentality
Nice to have: experience running AWS workloads in production, ideally including Amazon Bedrock AgentCore
Legally authorized to work in Canada or the United States
