About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and build production-grade AI agents with LangGraph for multi-step internal workflows
Deploy, run and scale agents on Amazon Bedrock AgentCore
Use runtime, memory, identity and gateway capabilities to make agents secure and reliable
Track agent operating costs and optimize efficiency as usage grows
Partner with Marketing, Sales, Support, Operations and Finance to identify high-impact workflows
Gather requirements from non-technical stakeholders and turn them into agent-driven solutions
Integrate agents with internal systems, APIs and third-party tools
Build evaluation, observability and guardrail frameworks
Establish reusable patterns, shared tools and best practices for the Agentic Systems team
Own agents from prototype through production and iterate using usage data and feedback
Drive adoption through documentation, training and enablement

Requirements

What you’ll need

6+ years of back-end development experience with Python, TypeScript/Node.js or Java
Track record of delivering systems built for security, scalability, availability and performance
Hands-on experience building and shipping LLM-powered agents or workflows using models such as Claude, GPT, Llama or Mistral
Experience with prompting, tool use and structured outputs
Production experience with at least one agent or LLM framework, such as LangGraph, LangChain, LlamaIndex or AutoGen
Understanding of RAG, reranking and multi-agent orchestration
Security-first approach to data access, permissions and failure modes
Strong product sense and communication skills
Ability to work directly with non-technical teams to understand workflows and create reliable automation
Comfort with ambiguity and ownership from idea to production
Experience running AWS workloads in production and Amazon services knowledge is nice to have
Authorization to work in Canada or the United States
