About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide products and services to enhance customer relationships
- Get to know customers, understand and educate them regarding their financial needs, and recommend appropriate products and services
- Conduct in-person interactions and outbound calling efforts
- Open new accounts and submit loan applications
- Comply with Bank policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements
- Resolve customer service issues and perform account maintenance requests
- Recommend and promote the Bank’s digital banking services
- Assist customers with teller transactions
- Process transactions in a timely, efficient, accurate, and friendly manner
- Complete classroom and hands-on training at various banking offices
- Travel to branch locations within Kent County, Delaware
- Work a flexible rotating weekly schedule, including 2–3 Saturdays per month
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or equivalent is required
- Must have at least one year of face-to-face customer service experience
- Previous cash handling experience is required
- Prior sales experience is required
- One year of previous banking experience is required
- Proven ability to work with customers in an enthusiastic manner
- Previous experience in a retail sales environment is strongly preferred
- Proven ability for attention to detail
- Ability to use and learn multiple banking and software programs
- Proven, excellent customer service skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to market Bank products and services
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without an employer-sponsored visa petition
