About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Contribute to the design of bridge and structural engineering projects, including reinforced concrete, UHPC, steel and composite structures
- Provide site-based construction supervision services
- Travel for assignments, potentially on a weekly basis
- Collaborate with WSP’s various disciplines in a multidisciplinary environment
- Participate in project management and design supervision projects, such as the rehabilitation of the Pont de Pierre, protection works along the RD22, and the Asnières footbridge
- Potentially work on underground structures, hydraulic protection works, hydroelectric developments, mines and quarries, and port infrastructure
- Work with teams in France and internationally
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum education level of a five-year higher education degree (engineering degree or Master’s degree)
- 2 to 5 years of experience in the design or construction of bridges and other structures
- Interest in working across a broad range of assignments, from design through construction
- Strong written communication skills
- Ability to present studies and technical findings in a clear, educational and concise manner
- Strong attention to detail, flexibility and excellent organizational skills
- Enjoyment of teamwork
- Technical expertise and the ability to share knowledge for experienced candidates
